Formerly "To China For Kelly"

When I originally set up this blog, it was to chronicle our trip to China to adopt our daughter, Kelly; thus the title, "To China For Kelly." But now that I've decided to keep it up as my on-line scrapbook/journal, the title needs updating.
Inspired by my girls, who, despite their ten year age difference, both love lollipops and lip gloss; it is now titled, "From Lollipops to Lip Gloss." This is not to leave my son out, who also loves lollipops, but isn't too big on lip gloss, understandably!

Countdown to Kelly...

Well, we're getting ready to head out the door to get our baby girl. I just wanted to post a quick note to let you all know we're feeling peaceful, joyful, and just plain excited. We're singing Woody's Kelly song (from Cheers)... "Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly..."
(Come on, I know you know it! Sing along! ;)
Thank you so much everyone, for your encouraging comments. We feel the LOVE and it's sooo nice to have friends and family like you. We're super blessed by each one of you. We so appreciate your thoughts, prayers, AND your comic relief! My hair is sooo "MONICA" here, it's not even funny!
Okay, time to go...
Next time we post, it will be with Kelly!!!

YEAH!!! I wanted to check once more before heading to bed. Are you a day ahead there??? I thought you were getting her on the 10th. Bill always says I have no concept of time! LOL!
JUST ENJOY! I know she will love you guys as much as you love her. Isn't it funny how the human heart can love someone they never met? GOD IS AMAZING the way He puts HIS LOVE IN OUR HEARTS. And the capacity of the human heart to love so many...it reminds me of the old hymn...THERE IS ROOM AT THE CROSS FOR YOU...Though MILLIONS have come there is still room for one! That is how God created our hearts to love. Though millions have come there is still room for one...and that is how it should be. Praise God that you are finally there!!! Kisses for Kelly! Love, Anna and Bill

I feel as though I am waiting for an OBGYN to pop up on my computer screen and declare, It's a GIRL!" ;-) Boy, this has been the longest *delivery* I've been privy to. ;-) Or, maybe, I am a part of "Extreme Home Makeover" and I everyone is chanting, "Kelly! Kelly! Kelly!... and then, shouting,"Driver move that bus!" LOL! Ah, the sweet anticipation of seeing the newest addition to the Kneip family... little Kelly.
I hope you guys know the words to "How Much is that Doggie in the Window?". That is on the required singing list for Nanna's grandchildren! ;-)
PATIENTLY watching and waiting...
I can only imagine what this day must be like!
