Formerly "To China For Kelly"

When I originally set up this blog, it was to chronicle our trip to China to adopt our daughter, Kelly; thus the title, "To China For Kelly." But now that I've decided to keep it up as my on-line scrapbook/journal, the title needs updating.
Inspired by my girls, who, despite their ten year age difference, both love lollipops and lip gloss; it is now titled, "From Lollipops to Lip Gloss." This is not to leave my son out, who also loves lollipops, but isn't too big on lip gloss, understandably!

My Auntie Thinks I'm Cuter Every Day!

Is it just me, or have the last couple of posts depicted better hair days for Kelly? Jen, are you using gel on your baby or what??

What a beautiful place for BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE. What lush plants! Send the rain!

Kelly is a living doll. I love how she curls her little toes under. Does this child own any shoes? A girl has got to have her shoes!!! No, I am teasing. It is hot there and I like the idea of her "bare-footing" it! She is her Daddy's littlest girl. Little Beach Baby Boo. I understand that that there are some really cute and inexpensive "squeaky" shoes for little ones sold in China. You must get her a pair. I was also thinking rather sentimentally about her birth land and was wondering if you thought about bringing back a small portion of the soil from China? You know me, I drag rocks from everywhere I have been! I just thought that would be neat and once home it could be sealed in a little clear container of some sort and saved for a special occassion. And I will share with you later what it may be saved for. It's a good thing! Keep these wonderful pictures coming!!!!! Oh my, aren't WE blessed!!!

How much fun this is to periodically check in on these pictures while I'm working at my computer all day. Any baby on the planet born under any circumstances couldn't be more blessed than to be a Kneip. If only every baby could have such love and care as Kelly is going to experience. Happy father's day to Clint, probably will go down as being the most memorable. I bet you two are aching for Caleb and Camryn. Less than a week to go! Already praying for a smooth and uneventful trip home for the three of you so you can get to enjoying being all five of you. I'm sure Kaya would want to be counted as Kneip #6.

Love,
Jen

Jennifer And Clint ~ Does Kelly play "Peep Eye" and "Patty Cake" with you? I wonder how many families are keeping up with your journey? A kindred spirit that I have never met but correspond with is knitting a sweater for Boo and is going to mail it to me to mail to you. Lots of love is sent your way even from Angels unaware!

Just about the time I think I've chosen my favorite photo new ones pop up. This is a really special experience for me to see a bit of China and share in a unique happening. You are so clever to arrange for all of us to join in and share this intimate union. I shared the photos with Olivia and she is anxious to meet Kelly. She thinks Kelly is beautiful and I've never heard her use that adjective while describing anyone before. The girl has good taste in beauty....takes after her grandmother on the mother's side.

Jen and Clint! Aside from the fun we have had with our webcam/Skype and chatting, this blogspot is such a treat. Kelly is truly a beauty and we are so fortunate that the Universe saw fit to bring her to us! I guess I'd better get busy on her portrait before she gets too big. Send me a photo you like and I'll get it going for you. I continue to be awestruck! Love you so-o-o-o-o much -- and all the folks who are watching this amazing event unfold in near realtime!
