Formerly "To China For Kelly"

When I originally set up this blog, it was to chronicle our trip to China to adopt our daughter, Kelly; thus the title, "To China For Kelly." But now that I've decided to keep it up as my on-line scrapbook/journal, the title needs updating.
Inspired by my girls, who, despite their ten year age difference, both love lollipops and lip gloss; it is now titled, "From Lollipops to Lip Gloss." This is not to leave my son out, who also loves lollipops, but isn't too big on lip gloss, understandably!

Happy Birthday Nanna!

These pictures are for you, Nanna- Happy Birthday!!!

Do you know how blessed we are to have you in our lives?

EXTREMELY!

You have made such a difference in these three lives as you've showered each of them with your love, devotion, encouragement, and especially your countless prayers. Do you realize, you have impacted their lives for Eternity?!
We adore you, Nanna, and we miss you sooo much. We pray you have a wonderful birthday, and we ALSO pray that it's not TOO MUCH longer before we get to see you again.
May God bless you with a very happy, healthy birthday- your snuggle bugs love you!

In order to get Kelly to smile in the next two pictures, I was singing "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" with her. If you notice her hands, you can tell she's doing the hand motions with me. She LOVES "Itsy Bitsy Spider"!

Happy Birthday Nanna! I hope you have a wonderful day. I'm so glad that my three sweet lovies have such a loving, wonderful Nanna.

Um, Jen . . . why does Kelly look so "relaxed" in some of those pictures?

Love,
Auntie

Great pics Jen!

Wow! Three beautiful children. Hard to pick which picture I like the best. Kelly looks so comfortable and just at ease with life with her big brother and big sister. How fun for her to experience life with and through all of you! Thanks for sharing!

And a big Happy Birthday to Nanna! Isn't she blessed to have all of you in her life!?

Love you guys,

Deb

Hi Cheri! Thanks for the note- it's great to hear from you!

Kelly's Nanna (the birthday girl) is actually the one who MADE that headband for Kelly! Can you believe how talented she is? I think you might be able to get some similar to that on E-Bay, I'm not sure... I'll ask her and get back to you via email.

Thanks again for the note- don't worry, I'm terrible about commenting too!

As for you, my little sister- what are you trying to incinuate with your quotation marks around the word relaxed?
Do you think we're giving our baby some whacky tobacky or something?!?

PULEEEEEEZZZ!!!

We may live in California where people do that kind of thing, but I'll have none of that in my house, you hear?!

Kelly's just NATURALLY relaxed these days- she's high on LOVE!!!

Speaking of love, I LOVE YOU! I'm just playin with ya- I know you were too!

Oh my! I am overwhelmed! The pictures are precious! I am the one who is so blessed to have all of you in my life! This has been the *bestest* birthday treat! I love all the photos. What can I say, they are the most beautiful children! You guys have made this such a special day. The best ever! I am so homesick for all of you! I can not wait to put my arms around all of you. Thank you for making my day so very special and thank you for always wrapping your love around me. The photo mouse pad is darling! I brought it to school to use since I spend more time on the computer here than at home PLUS I MUST show off my precious grandchildren to all my teacher friends. I also have now e-mailed this blog address to everyone I know so they can see how much everyone is growing. I am ALWAYS told what beautiful grandchildren I have. Yep, I already knew it! It is so easy to brag on you all. Starting with Clint, an awesome son, father and hubby; then the daughter-in-law of my dreams, Jennifer, for whom I prayed for before Clint nor I ever knew her; then little Clint (Caleb), the beautiful Princess, Camryn, and finally the little pea in the pod, Boo, (Kelly) our precious little China doll! Ah, God is so good. How thankful I am. Praise Him! He reaches down and touches me with such amazing love.
I love you! Hugs and kisses Snuggle Bugs! Nanna

Nanna- I'm so glad you like the mousepad and the pictures. Funny-I figured you'd take it up to work!!! I would too... what's the point if you can't show off your cutie pies?!

Also, you should be getting something else in the mail, hopefully today. After I sent you the mousepad, I figured the pictures might be pretty small on it, so there's a little hint about what to expect in the mail.

I'm so glad we made your day- we only wish we could have been there in person. We LOVE LOVE LOVE you! Happy Birthday!

Much Love,
Clint, Jen, Snugglebug, Sweetpea & Boo

I'm not trying to insinuate anything . . . I'm just saying, your baby looks chemically enhanced. Now, however she got that way isn't any of my business and I would never judge. After all, it IS the land of the free - well for a few more weeks anyway.

Love You,
Jen

"Chemically enhanced," eh? "Chemically enhanced" kind-of like my hair is chemically enhanced? (Can anyone say Clairol?)
Well, Kelly's 100% pure and natural, from the tip top of her head to the bottom of her wee little toes, so whether you're one to judge or not, there's nothing TO judge- but thanks for the reminder of our freedoms in this country for the next couple of weeks... I can see you're especially fond of your freedom of SPEECH!
Oh, and the one INSINUATION I did get loud and clear from you was the one that I don't know how to spell!!!
