Formerly "To China For Kelly"

When I originally set up this blog, it was to chronicle our trip to China to adopt our daughter, Kelly; thus the title, "To China For Kelly." But now that I've decided to keep it up as my on-line scrapbook/journal, the title needs updating.
Inspired by my girls, who, despite their ten year age difference, both love lollipops and lip gloss; it is now titled, "From Lollipops to Lip Gloss." This is not to leave my son out, who also loves lollipops, but isn't too big on lip gloss, understandably!

New Ornaments From Nanna

Last Sunday, the kids opened their new Christmas ornaments from Nanna. They each get a new one every year, so since Kelly wasn't home last year, she got two!
Thanks for the darling ornaments, Nanna!

Surfer Santa for Caleb- cool!

A pretty ballerina for Camryn

Kelly's signing "please" so she can open her ornament too!

Big brother helping little sister open her very first Christmas ornament from Nanna.

She's signing "please" again... I don't think it was going fast enough for her!

Wow, it's a cute little penguin!

Kelly wants to hold it, but she must be very careful...

Thank you, Nanna! I love them both!

I guess I didn't get one of her opening the other one, but it's a cute little snowman with a penguin on one side and a teddy bear on the other.
Here's a picture of our living room now that's it's almost completely decorated. I need a stable for my Nativity (above the TV) and I haven't hung the stockings yet because I still haven't found the "perfect" one for Kelly!
Speaking of Kelly, can you find her in this picture?

Very precious Jen! I love how Kelly is signing "please." They all look so cute and so excited to open their yearly ornaments!

Your living room looks gorgeous. How fun and exciting! Thanks for sharing your "magic" with us!

I like your furniture arrangement, it makes the room look bigger, I think. Okay, so is there a fight brewing between C & C in one of those shots or am I imagining them giving each other a "look"? LOL!

What a fun tradition for the kids to look forward to every year - what an awesome Nanna!
Love,
Auntie

Jen, you crack me up! Your precise perceptions know no bounds! Now you're getting as good at reading my kids as you are at reading me! LOL
YES, that was definitely a look Camryn was shooting Caleb's way. There were a couple other pictures that were even worse that I didn't include! Camryn was mad at Caleb for "hogging" Kelly and helping her open the ornaments without letting her help too! Of course, he dismissed her which made her even more mad! You know how it goes. LOL
Thankfully, she got over it pretty quickly, but you were definitely right- there was some serious brewing and stewing going on.
Man, you're good!
Love you,
Jen
